You know those moments when you drive along with eyes alert noticing a nice colour scheme or a lovely gate.
The sort you say to yourself “oh I love that” or “why would have they painted it that colour”?
I love driving back streets and getting off the main track, I try to contain little inner squeals of delight though mostly when I find a house I love, I outwardly sigh and moan!
Well Loulou-ers this was one of them…
I often take a drive through this street when I have to pop here and there in my local area – I can’t help but not!
It’s lined with those homes that make you go “wow” or “oh-my”.
Perfectly manicured gardens, grass mowed to the perfect height, tree lined footpaths yet I don’t see leaves in the gutters.
I call it “nice-ville”.
I hope you enjoy these shots of one home I stop and look at – it is as large wide as it is deep – in other words IT’S HUGE!!!
Two separate driveways privately gated either side of the home (one must be for the “help”).
It is not what I call my ‘dream home-beach house’ (though I wouldn’t say no!), I do love what I see.
But I think it could be one of my “Audrey Hepburn/Holly Golightly” moments – Perhaps I need my bagel and stand outside the gate like she did in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”. Maybe I’ll get invited in for morning tea (or perhaps removed from the footpath
